animated film

This animated film was part of a collaboration project, working across disciplines of Graphic Design and Illustration.

Having different artistic backgrounds and interests it was exciting creating a piece of work together. As a group we worked very closely. To start we searched extensively for a piece of sound we liked. Listening to the recording over and over, we brain stormed ideas of which we could relate to the sounds in the piece. With the decision to make a rotoscope animation we took videos of ourselves, remotely acting out the scenes. To follow we all took a section of the recording each and animated the scenes with the video recordings, before putting it all together and editing it into a 3 minute film.
