DEGREE SHOW

On my educational path at Brighton University, letterpress and lithography printing  became a huge passion for me. My dedication to this ancient form of printing, led me to write my dissertation on the topic of letterpress, focusing on the history which stems back over 500 years. What I have learnt is how letterpress was a crucial part of the development of communication and was the only means of printing text when it was invented. Over the years, letterpress has changed in many different ways but overall it has become more of an art form. Being a 21st century printer, I have explored letterpress printing in a new and inventive way by designing and creating my own letterpress fonts.
